About: Caroline is the Gender Focal Point for Energy and Extractives sector and has over 16 years’ experience on gender. She championed the development of the energy and Extractives industry gender strategy and action plan and is spear heading development of Gender factors sheets in the sector. She has represented the government of Uganda in the Conference on the status of Women since 2017. She spears heads the development and implementation of gender actions plans for projects, setting gender targets and indicators and is championing the establishment of a gender unit for the energy and Extractives sector.
