About: Oleg Dzioubinski is the Regional Adviser at the Sustainable Energy Division of the UN Economic Commission for Europe in Geneva. He provides advisory services, capacity building activities and manages projects in the area of sustainable energy upon requests from countries with economies in transition. He initiated organization of the International Forum on Energy for Sustainable Development in 2010. His previous experience at the United Nations includes work at the Department of Economic and Social Affairs on sustainable development issues, 1997-2000, New York; at the Department of Public Information on cooperation with a community of NGOs, 2000-2003, New York; and at the UNECE Environment Division on environmental performance reviews of the countries of South-Eastern and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia, 2003-2008, Geneva. Oleg Dzioubinski holds MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Shipbuilding, Ukraine and MA in Diplomacy and International Commerce from the University of Kentucky, United States.
