About: Dr. Nadjib Drouiche is a multidisciplinary researcher and policy analyst with an extensive academic background and a strong record of scientific publications across several domains. His research interests span semiconductor technology, energetics, and environmental sciences, with a particular emphasis on desalination, wastewater treatment, and sustainable water management. Over the course of his career, Dr. Drouiche has made significant contributions to the understanding and optimization of processes such as photovoltaic wastewater treatment, fluoride removal, and electrocoagulation for industrial effluent management. His work has been widely recognized and cited, underscoring its relevance to both scientific advancement and environmental policy development. He has been affiliated with several renowned institutions, including the Centre de Recherche en Technologie des Semi-Conducteurs pour l’Énergétique (CRTSE), the National Agency for the Valorization of Research Results and Technological Development (ANVREDET), and the Algerian Parliament, where he contributed to scientific advisory and policy initiatives. Currently, Dr. Drouiche is affiliated with the Ministry of Environment and Quality of Life, where he serves as a Policy Analyst and Research Officer. In this capacity, he focuses on integrating scientific evidence into environmental governance, promoting circular economy principles, and supporting the development of national strategies for sustainable waste and water management.
