About: As a Policy Analyst in NewClimate Institute, Rory Geary focuses on the links between climate policy and development, as well as the evaluation of national energy policies. His work to date has centred on the challenges of expanding the skilled workforce needed to carry out the energy transition. Prior to joining NewClimate Institute, Rory worked for several years in the Irish public sector. He conducted analysis on employment and social policies for the Ministry of Social Protection. Subsequently, he led and contributed to impact evaluations of national energy policies with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland.
