About: Nikola Bitrak, CEO of COLENCO Ltd and former Managing Director of AF-Consult, has over 20 years of experience in electrical engineering, energy markets, and project management. He has led major renewable and conventional power projects across SEE, CIS, Africa, and Asia, aiming toward global energy transition, clean industrial facilities, decarbonization, and infrastructure development. His expertise spans transmission and distribution infrastructure, renewable energy integration, and the transition from thermal to low-carbon technologies, including hydropower, gas-fired, and hydrogen-based solutions. Well-versed in the procedures of International Financial Institutions such as the EBRD, World Bank, KfW, and EIB, he ensures compliance with global standards and local regulations.
