About: Mr. Roel Janssens is the Secretary of the UNECE Working Party on Transport Trends and Economics (WP.5) within the Sustainable Transport Division. He jointly leads with the Sustainable Energy Division the E-Mobility Task Force, advancing policies and tools to accelerate transport electrification and energy integration. He also contributes to UNECE initiatives on Euro-Asian transport connectivity and oversees the International Transport Infrastructure Observatory (ITIO). Previously, he served as the Principal Economic Adviser at the OSCE in Vienna.
