About: Ignacio Nancupil is a specialist in the Energy Unit of ECLAC’s Natural Resources Division, with expertise in long-term energy planning, electricity markets, and the assessment of technologies for the energy transition. His work focuses on applied research in areas such as energy storage, green hydrogen, and regulatory modernization, fostering collaboration with public and private institutions at national and international levels. Throughout his career, Ignacio has contributed to advancing evidence-based decision-making processes aimed at supporting a sustainable, inclusive, and resilient energy transition in Latin America and the Caribbean.
