About: Chiara Maillart is a dual-degree student in Engineering (ISARA Lyon) and Management (EM Lyon Business School), specializing in agriculture, environment, and food systems, with a strong focus on sustainability, project management, and social impact. She has deepened her expertise in territorial risk management and land-use planning through a specialization at ISTOM Angers. In 2023-2024, Chiara embarked on a transformative gap year, traveling solo across South America and Asia, enhancing key soft skills like resilience, autonomy, and intercultural communication. She is also dedicated to inclusion and diversity, having directed a short film on deafness and disability and worked in leadership roles to promote access to education and diversity within engineering.
