About: Gordana Popovikj Friedman joined UNDP as Project Manager of the Green Finance Facility UN Joint Program in August 2022 with over 25 years’ experience in international development cooperation, specializing in competitiveness, private sector development, innovation, and strategic partnerships. Prior to UNDP, Gordana served as Private Sector Specialist at the World Bank Group, Environment Project Officer at EBRD, Senior Project Development Specialist with USAID implementing partners, among other roles, based in Skopje and Washington DC. She holds an MBA degree from University American College Skopje, a B.A. in Teaching English degree from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje and professional certifications from the United Nations, World Bank, and The George Washington University.
