Skopje’s Old Bazaar (Stara Čarši- ja) is one of the largest and most well-preserved bazaars in the Balkans, with origins dating back to the 12th century. This vibrant district is a cultural and historical heart of the city, filled with narrow winding streets, traditional Otto- man architecture, craft shops, and markets. The area is home to historical mosques, such as the Mustafa Pasha Mosque, and Daut Pasha Amam, a former public bath now used as an art gal- lery. The Bazaar has retained its character over the centuries, blending a lively mix of old-world charm and modern-day commerce. It’s a fantastic place to shop for traditional crafts, local products, and enjoy Turkish coffee in one of the many cafes
